We aim to bring together key government agencies and services, policymakers, researchers, specialist and non-specialist services, the community sector, and most importantly, victim-survivors, to improve outcomes and transform outdated systems.

Membership Categories
TFSVA has the following categories of membership available:
Full Membership
Full membership is open to specialist family and sexual violence organisations and organisations that deliver services specific to family and/or sexual violence prevention, early intervention, response and/or healing and recovery in Tasmania.
Associate Membership
Associate membership has two categories:
Category A: organisations and government departments that endorse our purpose and guiding principles and have an interest in our work.
Category B: individuals that endorse our purpose and have an interest in our work who are:
- victim-survivors or people with lived experience of family and sexual violence
- employed in specialist roles in the family and/or sexual violence sector
- students, researchers, academics, educators or practitioners with an interest in family and/or sexual violence prevention, early intervention, response and/or recovery.
