We are excited to host DFV and Intersectionality Training, this training is a critical part of enhancing the capacity of the sector, especially early career practitioners in applying intersectionality in their practice. Members have identified intersectionality as a key area for further focus and development.
The training has been co-designed with and will be delivered by Yamurrah; a First Nations collective that specialises in complex trauma, violence, abuse and neglect, human rights, healing and recovery.
This full day online training will build foundational and applied knowledge of intersectionality, strengthen culturally safe and inclusive practice, reflect on biases and how to address them, as well as strengthen systems navigation, collaboration and advocacy.
